🌟 How to evolve your Glimkin (Hatchling → Radiant)
Every Glimkin grows through four life stages — Hatchling, Juvenile, Adult, and the golden Radiant. Evolution isn't about grinding levels: it's about BOND, the measure of how well and how variedly you care for your companion.
The four stages
Hatchling — small, big-headed, brand new (all hatched eggs start here). Juvenile — the classic form, where starter Glimkin begin. Adult — taller and more confident, reached at 120 bond. Radiant — the dream: taller still, wearing a species-specific golden crown and shedding innate starlight, reached at 320 bond.
Your Glimkin evolves when two things are true at once: its bond has crossed the next stage's threshold (25 for Juvenile, 120 for Adult, 320 for Radiant), and its wellbeing is above 72 — a happy, fed, rested companion. When both align, a pulsing ✦ Evolve button appears on the home screen and the ceremony begins.
How bond grows (and why spamming doesn't work)
Bond rewards VARIETY, not repetition. Feeding gives more when you serve foods your Glimkin loves (every pet has two secret favorites to discover). Petting grants bond for the first few cuddles a day. Playing arcade games adds a little. Granting the daily wish in the thought bubble is the single biggest daily boost (+8). Expeditions add bond on every homecoming.
Bond NEVER decays. Miss a week and every point is still there waiting — Lumenhollow is cozy on purpose.
The Radiant payoff
A Radiant Glimkin wears a crown designed for its species — Fenn's foxfire flames, Hoot's crescent-moon tiara, Geode's crystal corona — plus an innate golden shimmer and halo. It's the visible proof of months of good care, and other keepers can see it on your public page and in the Arena.
